The Township Engineer is responsible for performing a broad range of tasks related to planning, design, construction and maintenance of a variety of public works projects.  The Engineer provides oversight and coordination between department managers in  Planning/Zoning , Building Inspections , Water/Sewer, the Township's consulting engineering firm and assigned support staff.

Our Engineer also has direct contact with several offices in Kent County, and works with them on a daily basis to help residents within Gaines Charter Township.
